Friday was a fun and relaxing day enjoying the freedom from the busiest semester in law school. This evening, we went over to Ken's to watch Ted, which was actually a pretty good movie. Afterwards, we went out to catch up with everyone else and celebrate Kate's return to Bloomington! We ended up finishing off the night at The Rail, my favorite bar in Bloomington, and were able to sit down and enjoy some nice handcrafted cocktails in the amazing atmosphere that The Rail provides. This first photo is a photo taken from exactly a year ago today, the Friday that we all finished our first set of finals as 1Ls. Maggie, Rob, Kate, and I ended up deciding to make a trip to The Rail to end that evening, which was the first of many future trips there.
This semester we had a different and much larger crowd, but we were able to bring some new people along with us to this fantastic tradition that has now developed for celebrating the end of Fall semester exams! I have upgraded my drink choice, from a reverse-Vesper martini, to the Vesperita martini that I developed the recipe for during one of our trips to The Rail last Spring semester. It was a perfect way to end a very busy semester, and hopefully we will be able to make it three for three next Fall!
