Christmas decorations are starting to go up around campus, as seen by some of the new bows outside of the law school. I ended up using the first day of Thanksgiving break to catch up on some Evidence classes and get started working on my seminar paper, which will eventually be due the week after exams. The paper is actually due on December 21, 2012...the last day of the Mayan calendar. Perhaps the reason the Mayans ended their calendar is not for the end of the world, but instead because they were counting down the day's when they could sit down and read all of our Law and Economics papers?
Since the law school closes really early this week, it was time to move on to the Union again to finish up the work for the day, where a new surprise awaited in the Harry Potter room—more Christmas trees, these ones with snowmen and snowflakes! You may notice that the snowmen have a conductor's sheet next to the grand piano...they will shortly be performing the fight song, for the glory of old IU!
