Today was our Friday off, so what better way to celebrate than having this fantastic dinner at Outback? For the record, this is the first time I have ever had fish out at a restaurant (with the exception of sushi). Although I did miss my usual Outback Special, this Woodfire-grilled Ahi Tuna was fantastic. I also enjoyed the yellow cucumbers (also known as squash) in my mixed vegetables.
This is an example of one of the better parking jobs I've ever seen. Megan, with the option of choosing both spots, picked the worse spot that was farther away from the restaurant (as she usually does). When David got there, he picked the better spot (what most people would do), but to make her feel better, he parked as far away from the restaurant as possible (pretty nice of him right?). Unfortunate consequence of this act of kindness, however, was that he ended up so close to Megan's car that we couldn't get back in, and he couldn't get in his driver's side to move the car. Looks like we'll have to call a tow truck again. But don't worry, Megan had them on speed dial because she is used to picking bad parking spots.
Next up is our evening at the Bryan (not Bryant) Park film festival. Not much to report from here, except that the film that's on the screen now (the logo) was probably the most interesting film we watched. Also, there was a pretty cool dog sitting next to us that we would eventually see again at the Farmer's Market the next morning.
