Happy Thanksgiving! With only three days off for Thanksgiving break, a lot of us don't have enough time to really go home for the holiday, so instead we get to have another Bloomington Thanksgiving. This year Tim and I went over to Megan's to cook our dishes to bring, so that she could keep an eye on us and make sure we didn't mess anything up. I brought stuffing as my signature dish, which means I cut up a bunch of vegetables and things and Megan put them all together and made food. (I did win several trophies for being the best at cutting up different kinds of vegetables!)
After moving over to Erin's to join the rest of the Thanksgiving party, this was my selection of foods for Thanksgiving dinner (I think I had some of everything there was to choose from). All of it was fantastic, and the stuffing turned out great as well. Overall, it was another great Bloomington Thanksgiving!
Back in June, you may remember that Megan and I went up to meet our Michigan friends up in Detroit (what!) for a Tigers-Yankees game. At said game, Megan and Tim made a slap-bet on the outcome. Turns out, the Tigers came through that day, and Tim won three slaps to dish out at the time of his choosing. What better day to get rid of the first than Slapsgiving? After setting the Slapsgiving Countdown, Tim managed to get this one on the board with just over a minute to spare. And he even scored some bonus points with the surprise whip cream slap.
