“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.” – Steve Jobs
This is my attempt at a 365 Project: One picture a day, one story a day, one dot per day. We'll see where it goes from there.

Day 115: September 23, 2012
Thoughts and prayers go out today to Torrey Smith, who lost his younger brother in a motorcycle accident prior to the Ravens' Sunday night game against the Patriots. Torrey played a spectacular game in an amazing and courageous performance, helping the Ravens secure a last-second come-from-behind victory. Torrey starred at Stafford Senior when I was at North, played for Maryland while I was at Virginia, and was drafted by the Steelers' fiercest rivals. Although I have never met Torrey aside from sharing a football field for my last game at North Stafford, we have certainly shared an odd connection on opposite sides of the football world. And while you don't often see me pulling for the Ravens, I was carrying the purple and black flag tonight to support Torrey. I pray that he can continue to be as strong as he was tonight in the challenging days that are still to come.
