“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.” – Steve Jobs
This is my attempt at a 365 Project: One picture a day, one story a day, one dot per day. We'll see where it goes from there.

Day 163: November 10, 2012
My Every Yard for Yeardley shirt from the Baltimore Marathon came in. Unfortunately I was unable to be in Baltimore for the race (and only would have been physically able to run the 5k anyway), but now that I have one race under my belt hopefully I can adopt it as my shirt for future races. Today I spent most of the day researching for my note, which was actually inspired in large part by the OneLove Foundation's new app promoting domestic violence awareness/prevention. It is a tough topic to read and write about, but hopefully I can do a good job and contribute to the scholarship and awareness out there in the subject.

Day 47: July 17, 2012
"One Love Foundation’s driving goal is to educate, encourage and develop in children and young adults four qualities that Yeardley exemplified… service, kindness, humility and sportsmanship… that together add up to One Love. We would like to “bring out the Yeardley” in everyone by igniting the spirit of One Love in students, encouraging them to choose a path of goodness. Our hope is to keep Yeardley’s spirit alive in others by promoting strength of character and service."
